Austin City Life exists to cultivate communities of Spirit-led disciples who redemptively engage peoples and cultures through Christ for the glory of God. We believe that the gospel of Jesus compels us to make disciples who live redemptively in all aspects of urban life. The "good news" of the gospel is good for souls and for cities, peoples and cultures. Jesus’ understanding of the gospel came from the prophet Isaiah, which included everything from the liberation of spiritual prisoners to the mending of urban social fabric (Isaiah 61; Luke 4). Jesus is the hope of the city, and we hope to see this city renewed.
Austin City Life is committed to sharing and living this gospel with the peoples and cultures of Austin and the world. To this end, Austin City Life is a church planting church, an urban seedbed for the planting of numerous daughter churches, locally and globally, that renew their communities with the hope of Christ.
