KIDS LIFE
“Keep Kids Safe, Love them Well, and Show them Jesus.”
Our kids are important. They are not an inconvenience to be “watched” while we do church; they are the church. Our children are a precious responsibility and privilege, the future of the church, the city and the world.
Austin City Life promotes the discipleship of our children through Kids Life. Kids Life is a Sunday-based ministry to love, serve, and teach our kids. We focus on: Keeping Kids Safe, Loving them Well, and Showing them Jesus. We use a combination of Show Me Jesus and Children Desiring God curriculum.
In addition to Sundays, we promote a parent-centered approach to the discipleship of children. We believe it is the parents responsibility to disciple their children in a way that fits their family. Therefore, we provide instruction and resources to promote Christ-centered parenting. This discipleship also happens naturally in community. We include our children in community events and relationships throughout the week through things like Moms Groups, City Groups, and life together.
