Austin City Life

Hi, my name is Jonathan Dodson and I am the vision and teaching pastor of Austin City Life. I am also married to Robie and father to Owen and Ellie. I have the joy of leading and participating in a community of people who are committed to the good of the city and the glory of God.

I am originally from Nacogdoches, Texas and am a dual citizen of England and the U.S. (My mum is British!) I graduated from college with a  B.A. in Anthropology, which I have had the privilege of applying in various cultural contexts, most recently Southeast Asia. I attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where I earned two masters degrees, one in Divinity (M.Div) and another in Biblical Theology (Th.M). Among other things, I enjoy smoking my pipe, chewing on a good piece of theology, and listening to M. Ward.
